Flat Bed Printing & CuttingPower through partnership, our San Diego based Océ Arizona 250 GT flatbed printers are based on a new Océ-developed platform that combines a true flatbed design and a separate, dedicated roll-to-roll capability. It can print onto rigid media up to 98 inches wide x 49 inches long x 1.89 inches thick. The large format flatbed printer uses four-color (CMYK) UV curable inks and Océ VariaDot imaging technology with near-photographic image resolution to deliver true production print speeds of 172 square feet per hour. The Océ Arizona 250 GT was recently previewed at SGIA 2006 and won the 2006 DPI Vision Award for a new digital imaging product development most likely to have a profound and positive effect on the industry. Due to the modularity and versatility of the cutters, the reproHAUS can change the cutting tool very easily to match the actual application. Kiss-cutting, through cutting, creasing and routing are only some of the options. With the use of the new 1kW router, rigid materials like acrylics and aluminium sandwich plates with a thickness of up to 1 inch and foam boards with a thickness of up to 2 inch can be cut.
